Summary

The Aces survive a back-and-forth game that never produces more than a single-digit margin.

Atlanta's offensive balance keeps the Dream within striking distance throughout the night, with Rhyne Howard and Allisha Gray repeatedly answering Las Vegas runs.

But the Aces' combination of A'ja Wilson's interior scoring, Jackie Young's all-around production and Chelsea Gray's late-game decision-making ultimately proves to be the difference.

The matchup also illustrates why this could be an important late-season test for both teams. Atlanta enters the night 21-13 and fifth in the Eastern Conference, while Las Vegas sits at 24-12 and third in the West.

The Aces have already beaten Atlanta this season, winning 85-84 in Atlanta on May 17 and 86-76 on August 3. Jackie Young recorded a triple-double in the August 3 meeting, while Wilson added 23 points.
